ABOUT PRAGUE

Prague, the golden city, is considered one of the most beautiful European cities. After we have visited it for a couple of days we can really embrace this statement. Even though the city has a rich history, the prices in Prague are pretty cheap, which makes it perfect for a citytrip on a budget.

WHAT TO DO IN PRAGUE

Žluté lázně

Chill at Žluté lázně

Žluté lázně is a sport complex right next to the Moldau (the river that flows through Prague) where you can chill in the grass, play some sports, or have a snack and a drink. It feels a bit like going to the beach, but instead of this you’re laying in the grass instead of in the sand and you’re cooling off in the river instead of the sea. Note that this place is only open in the summer season. Žluté lázně is a nice place to hang and escape the busy city life.

Dance at Karlovy Lazne, or…

if you really want a taste of Prague’s night life, you should pay a visit to Karlovy Lazne. It is a famous club with multiple levels of different kind of music. So whatever music you’re into or you feel like dancing to, chances are you’ll find it at Karlovy Lazne. They even have an ice cave where you drink an freezing cold Heineken.

Alternatives

The downside of this famous club is that it is visited by lots of tourists, which can make the experience less ‘local’ if that’s something that is important to you. No worries, there are a lot of alternatives in Prague’s city centre. Here is a list of some of our favorite clubs in Prague:

  • Ankali

  • Fuchs2

  • Dog Bar

Walk around Old Town

The truth is that European cities can have similarities in how they look like from an architectural perspective. The Old Town area of Prague is different. It felt a bit like a fairy tale, like walking in a movie. We had some great conditions which allowed us to shoot some nice pictures and made the strolling really peaceful. The sunset colored the sky pink which was a picture perfect ending of this citytrip.
